Ausek Limited, with its registered address at Building 4, Jianjin Bicycle (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Factory, South Side of Donghuan 2nd Road, Fukang Community, Longhua Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen ("Ausek," "we," or "us"), is the developer and operator of the B380 App. We understand the importance of personal information to you and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information.

EU/EEA representative: where required by applicable law, we will designate a representative separately and publish the representative's contact information in this Policy.

Scope: this Policy applies to the B380 App (iOS / Android versions) and related services.

2. Privacy Compliance Summary

The B380 App processes personal information in accordance with the following principles:

Local-first: live video, two-way talk, and SD card recordings are processed locally by default to minimize unnecessary data uploads;
Data minimization: we collect only information necessary to provide the relevant function, and system permissions are requested separately for each business scenario;
Purpose specification: the purpose of each type of personal information is described in this Policy;
Separate consent: sensitive personal information and system permissions are disclosed to you separately and authorized before use;
Withdrawable: you may withdraw permissions or turn off personalized recommendations in the App at any time;
Encrypted protection: encryption measures are applied when personal information is transmitted.

If you only need to use basic device management functions, you should not be forced to grant permissions unrelated to the current function. Unless otherwise required by law or necessary to provide the core service, refusing authorization will not affect your use of other functions.

6. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

Provide core services: device pairing, live preview, recording playback, push notifications, and video doorbell calls;
Improve product experience: crash analysis, feature usage statistics, and compatibility adaptation;

Security protection: abnormal behavior detection, risk control, and troubleshooting;
Legal compliance: perform legal obligations.

We will not:

View or monitor your live video or local SD card recordings;
Sell your personal information to third parties;
Use video or audio data for advertising or personalized recommendations without your explicit consent;
Turn on the camera or microphone without your knowledge;
Include deceptive, disruptive, or device-function-interfering advertisements in the App.

6.1 Legal Bases for Processing

Performance of a contract: processing necessary for registration, login, and provision of core services;
Consent: processing sensitive personal information, enabling the camera or microphone, personalized advertising, and push notifications where consent is required by law;
Legitimate interests: crash analysis, product improvement, and security protection;
Legal obligations: performing statutory retention, regulatory cooperation, and other obligations.

7. Special Note on Video Data

The B380 App is an IPC monitoring App, and processing video and audio data is part of its core functionality. Our special commitments regarding video data are as follows:

Local-first: SD card recordings are stored entirely on your device, and we cannot access them;
Live video P2P direct connection: by default, live video is transmitted through a P2P end-to-end direct connection and does not pass through our servers;
Minimal event upload: snapshots or short clips are uploaded only when an alert is triggered, for push notifications;
Not used for AI training: your video data will not be used to train artificial intelligence models.

8. Data Storage and Cross-Border Transfer

Cross-border transfer: when your data needs to be transferred between different jurisdictions, we will take the following safeguards:

In addition, for crash diagnosis and performance analysis, certain device operating status data, excluding live video and recordings, may be transmitted in encrypted form to overseas servers operated by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.). Sentry is SOC 2 certified, and we have entered into standard contractual clauses with it. See Section 9 for the SDK list.

Retention period:

Normally retained for the duration of your account;
After account cancellation: all personal information is deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law;
Event snapshots: retained for three days by default;
If we cease operating the product or service, we will promptly stop collecting personal information, notify you, and delete or anonymize the stored personal information.

Response time: we will respond to your request within 15 business days for Mainland China, 30 days under the GDPR, and 45 days under the CCPA.

11. Protection of Minors

The B380 App is not designed for minors. Under applicable law:

Mainland China: the App is not intended for children under 14;
United States (COPPA): the App is not intended for children under 13;
EU (GDPR): the App is not intended for children under 16.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it immediately. If you are a guardian and discover such a situation, please contact us through the contact information below.

12. Account Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time in the App. Path: My > Settings > Account and Security > Cancel Account.

Cancellation rules:

After you submit a cancellation request, your account enters a 7-day cooling-off period;
You may withdraw the cancellation request during the cooling-off period;
After the cooling-off period ends, we will:
Delete your personal information unless retention is required by law;
Unbind all associated devices, without affecting the subsequent use of the device hardware;
Recordings on the device's local SD card are not affected because they are stored on your device.

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through:

An in-app pop-up notification;
Email notification if you have provided an email address.

For processing that requires renewed consent, such as sensitive personal information or personalized advertising, we will separately obtain your consent after material changes. For other changes, your continued use after notification will be deemed acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel your account.
