AUSEK concluded its participation in IEAE Shenzhen 2026 on September 6. Across the four-day exhibition at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian, our team at booth 9E06 noted interest in handheld cameras and overseas buyers’ attention to product quality and the factory behind the products.
These observations point to two parts of a camera sourcing decision: choosing a product customers will enjoy using, and assessing the manufacturer that will supply it.
Handheld cameras: evaluating the experience customers will buy
Handheld cameras drew attention at the show. For distributors and retailers considering this category, grip, screen position and access to controls deserve a place alongside image specifications in a sample review.
A buyer can assess these details through a short shooting sequence: hold the camera, frame a shot, start recording, change the viewing position and play the clip back. This helps reveal whether the layout suits the intended user and which operations will need explanation in a product demonstration or instruction guide.
For a camera intended for travel or everyday recording, that experience shapes how a retailer presents the product. It provides specific material for a listing or demonstration: how the camera is held, how the user frames a shot and how easily they can reach the recording controls.

AUSEK’s quality-control process covers incoming materials, production, finished products and outgoing shipments through IQC, IPQC, FQC and OQC. Factory testing equipment includes plug life, vibration and temperature testing equipment. AUSEK began in 2008 and manufactures portable imaging products, including action cameras, pocket cameras, digital cameras and children’s cameras. Its Shenzhen operation includes a 5,500-square-metre production workshop and six production lines.
