Conversations at recent trade shows brought three priorities into focus: steady footage, easier solo filming and a removable battery. Here is how those priorities come together in the N108—and what they mean for brands and distributors evaluating a new pocket camera.

From the show floor to your product lineup

At IEAE in Shenzhen, Global Sources Consumer Electronics in Hong Kong and the recent Canton Fair in Guangzhou, visitors tried the AUSEK N108, asked for pricing and requested samples. Stabilization, face tracking and the removable battery came up in our conversations with buyers.

Those discussions reflected the thinking behind the product. We developed the N108 for people who want to record a trip, film themselves or capture everyday moments with a pocket camera. For brands and distributors, that gives the model a clear place to start: travel recording, everyday vlogging and solo content creation.

Designed around the way people actually film

Walking through a destination while filming and speaking to the camera without someone behind it are familiar situations for travelers and vloggers. They call for stable footage, support for keeping a face in frame and a screen that makes composition easier.

The N108 brings together a two-axis gimbal, electronic image stabilization (EIS) supported by a six-axis gyroscope, and AI face tracking. Its 2.2-inch rotating screen gives users flexibility when framing and checking a shot. The camera also supports 5K video recording and uses a removable 1550mAh battery.

Our aim was to bring these functions into a pocket camera with a straightforward purpose: helping users handle moving shots and solo filming, while making battery replacement part of the product design.

A product story your customers can see

For a new model to earn a place in your lineup, its features need to be easy to explain. With the N108, a travel or vlogging demonstration gives each feature a practical context: stabilization for a walking shot, face tracking for a presenter moving in front of the camera, and the rotating screen for framing the scene.

These are useful starting points for an in-store demonstration, a product-page video or a sample review by your team. Showing how the camera is used adds context to its specifications and helps you assess whether the experience fits your customers.

That makes the N108 worth evaluating for brands adding a travel-focused pocket camera, distributors serving camera and consumer-electronics retailers, and online sellers developing a vlogging range. The removable battery adds another tangible feature to explain: how the battery is taken out and replaced during ownership.

Why the removable battery matters for Europe

For buyers supplying the EU market, battery replacement is also a product-planning consideration. Article 11 of the EU Batteries Regulation applies from 18 February 2027 and sets requirements for the removability and replaceability of portable batteries, with specific exemptions. This regulatory direction was one of the factors we considered when developing the N108.

The N108’s removable 1550mAh battery makes the replacement design a concrete part of the sample evaluation. Alongside the filming experience, buyers can examine the battery removal process and consider how replacement fits into the customer’s longer-term use of the camera. For a European product range, that gives the discussion a practical focus beyond the headline camera specifications.

Put the N108 to work in a sample evaluation

The next step is to try the N108 in the situations you would show your own customers: a handheld walking shot, a solo presentation, a change of screen position and a battery replacement. These give your team concrete material for deciding how the model fits your range and how to introduce it.

AUSEK is now accepting pre-orders for the N108. Samples are available for evaluation. Contact us to discuss your target market, your camera lineup and the uses you would like to explore with a sample.
